FUSF is a Musical Place

The Universal Singers

Music at FUSF

FUSF is fortunate to have a wide variety of musical talent within the congregation. Each service features music—whether through soloists, small ensembles, or larger groups—that enriches our shared experience.

Our Sanctuary

The FUSF sanctuary was specifically designed for superior acoustics. With its exceptional sound and lighting systems, every performance is enhanced. Music here is truly a joy to hear.

Piano Music

Each week, one of three talented pianists accompanies the hymns and offers beautiful instrumental selections on the Schimmel grand piano.

The Universal Singers

FUSF is also home to the Universal Singers, a vibrant, welcoming choir directed by Michele Kelly.

  • The choir sings several times each month, filling the Meetinghouse with song.
  • Rehearsals are held Sunday mornings before service, plus one evening during the week (for those who can attend).
  • Michele also provides rehearsal tracks, sheet music, and recordings to support practice a home.
  • Reading music is not required—just bring your love of singing!

The Universal Singers are fun, inclusive, and always open to new members.

Special Music

In addition to choir and piano, many services feature special music such as:

  • Soloists or small groups
  • Classical instrumental ensembles
  • Drumming ensembles
  • Native American flute
  • Even a rock band!

Children’s Choir

The Children’s Choir

The Children’s Choir brings youthful energy and joy to our servcies a few times each year. We hope to increase their participation even more in the future.
