Interim Minister, The Rev. Beverly Waring
Rev. Beverly Waring’s journey to ministry has been a winding road. She started her adult life as a software engineer, then after earning a Master’s degree in Social Work, she worked in various social work roles until returning to school and receiving her Master’s in Divinity in 2009.
Rev. Bev Waring comes to us as after serving six diverse congregations in Massachusetts and New York: three intentional one-year contracts, and three three-year interim ministries.
When not working, Bev is an avid geocacher and enjoys puzzles of all kinds (jigsaw, Sudoku, logic, and crosswords). She is an avid reader and volunteers for two animal rescue groups—one for dogs and one for cats. Bev lives in Marlborough, MA with Donna (her spouse of 40 years) and their dog, Whitney.
Our Lay Ministers
Lay Ministers offer caring support and provide opportunities for deeper connections. They coordinate assistance for those members in need, and stay connected to congregants through notes, email, phone calls, and visits. They lead the Candles of Joy & Concern during our services.
