Religious Education Schedule
Spring 2026
Please notice when we will be meeting outside and make sure your children are dressed appropriately and have applied sunscreen and bug spray if desired. See more detailed descriptions of each class here.
Sunday, June 7 – Flourishing Together with LGBTQIA+ Pride
All Ages Circle, Grades PreK-9 – outside, please bring weather appropriate layers
This is the final Religious Education class for the church year. Our theme is Flourishing Together with LGBTQIA+ Pride. We will celebrate Pride Month with a story and some activities centered around pride. We will also practice Rev. Bev’s goodbye song with Michele Kelly. Please pick up after service, rather than at 11:10 am, so that everyone can be ready for the Annual Meeting.
After Service: Annual Meeting in the sanctuary. The nursery will be open to all who would benefit from it.
Sunday, June 14 – Intergenerational Worship Service, Flower Communion
No RE Classes this morning due to the intergenerational service. The nursery will be open 9:30 am – 11:30 am.
For flower communion service we invite everyone to bring a flower to service. We will collect all of the flowers, marvel at their beauty, then each person will take a flower home. This will be a shorter service than typical, approximately 30 minutes.
After Service: Stay in the sanctuary to begin our Celebration of Rev. Bev, then join us in Fellowship Cafe for some treats and continued celebration of her ministry at FUSF.
Sunday, June 21 – General Assembly Service (on the screens) 11:00 am – noon
At FUSF there will be no RE Classes. The nursery will be open 10:45 am – 12:15 pm.
Due to the General Assembly Service starting at 11:00 am, we will gather beforehand for conversation and treats. See the E-Messenger that week for details on timing.
Sunday, June 28 – Summer Services Begin
At FUSF there will be no RE Classes and no staff in the nursery.
During Summer Services we do not offer religious education classes and the nursery will be closed. If you bring children to service, you are welcome to use the Worship Bags, borrow books from the FUSF library, and/or borrow toys from the nursery. We just ask that you please put everything back when you are finished.
