Sunday, March 2: Intergenerational Service with the band Critical Mass

No Religious Education classes this Sunday.  The nursery will be open.  

Any children who need to play and move are welcome to go to the nursery at any point during the service, all ages are welcome.

Sunday, March 9: Age Based Classes, inside

Grades K-5

  • LEGO ValUUes Curriculum: Holiday Session Mardi Gras
  • Theme: Fun – Mardi Gras is a time for celebrating joy
  • Play: Build with green, yellow, and purple LEGO bricks to make something joyful.  Decorate a Mardi Gras mask.  Play some Mardi Gras games.

Grades 6-8

  • New Curriculum: Planning an FUSF service project
  • Activity: Last month we brainstormed ideas for making FUSF more accessible. What can we do to implement change?

Sunday, March 16: Aged Based Classes, inside

Grades K-5

  • LEGO ValUUes Curriculum: Session 11
  • Theme: Transformation -We work together to transform our world into a better place for everyone.
  • Play: Build a flower with lego bricks and/or transform some playdough into a work of art.

Grades 6-8

  • FUSF Service Project: Session 2
  • This curriculum will develop week to week based on the direction the youth decide to take.

Sunday, March 23: Aged Based Classes, inside

Grades K-5

  • LEGO ValUUes Curriculum: Session 12
  • Theme: Transformation – We are always growing and learning. 
  • Play: Build a carnival game, like ring toss, using LEGO bricks. Create a game that the characters in the book we read can play.

Grades 6-8

  • FUSF Service Project: Session 3
  • This curriculum will develop week to week based on the direction the youth decide to take.

Sunday, March 30: Aged Based Classes, inside

Grades K-5

  • LEGO ValUUes Curriculum: Session 13
  • Theme: Interdependence – Every living creature is part of the web of life and has an important role to play.
  • Play: Build a worm and a tunnel for the worm using LEGO bricks. Create a domino run.

Grades 6-8

  • FUSF Service Project: Session 4
  • This curriculum will develop week to week based on the direction the youth decide to take.
