This wing was funded by the congregation at a “Miracle Sunday” event where members raised $200,000 in one day for the construction of the religious education wing. Of our two bathrooms, one is labeled “All Gender.” This bathroom designation affirms our belief that gender identification is personal and all deserve the right to choice, safety, and privacy. Each year our team makes sure our congregation meets the UUA Welcoming Congregation requirements and creates a safe and loving space for people who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning, intersex, asexual, plus other.
