Buds are sprouting and greening, ready to explode with the spring sunshine and warmth. Grab your work gloves, rakes, leaf blower, tree trimmers, and most of all your community spirit and join in the fun! Whether you can stay for an hour or three, your help is greatly appreciated.               

Join us after the service on Sunday, April 21st and celebrate Earth Day by learning about the importance of native plants! We will start at 11:15 am to give everyone time to get coffee and snacks. Steve Derdiarian (Landscape Architect) and Stirling Cousins (Master Naturalist) will give a presentation and then we will have time for questions (45 minutes to one hr).

Join us as we read and discuss 8 chapters in Walden, by Henry David Thoreau, focusing on how Thoreau’s ideas relate to the ways we may choose to live in the twenty-first century.  Bobbi Gerlits and Ann Parsley will be facilitating this Adult RE class. The class will meet in-person at the FUSF meetinghouse from 2–3:30 pm on 7 consecutive Sunday afternoons: February 11, 18, and 25; March 3, 10, 17, and 24.

Saturday, March 2, 7 PM – 9 PM Put on your dancing shoes and come on down to the First Universalist Society in Franklin for a festive evening! New England Country Dance is a fun, accessible “barn dance” that is suitable for people of all ages, from 4 to 88. Families, college students, teens, and the young at heart are most welcome!  The dancing does not require any previous experience. The dance caller walks everyone on
