Climate Justice
FUSF members have a long history of involvement in climate justice issues. The Climate Justice Team works to channel this existing concern into specific opportunities for action as they arise, based on our Unitarian Universalist Values and Principles.
The Team provides a variety of opportunities for congregants to become educated on different aspects of the climate issue and to take action in solidarity with partners outside FUSF, including 350 Mass. This can include worship services, legislative advocacy and testimony on both statewide and local levels, personal sustainability efforts, and petitions and letters to statewide and national leaders.
All members and friends are welcome to participate with our Climate Justice Initiative Team. If interested, please contact Rand and Carolyn Barthel, Climate Justice Initiative Team co-chairs (contact information available on Breeze).
