Since the late Middle Ages, the dead have been remembered in Christian countries in Europe and elsewhere around the globe in formal church services on All Souls’ Day. Join Rev. Bev as we remember and celebrate the sacred threads of our ancestors and loved ones that continue to weave through our lives.
All are invited to bring a picture or object that represents a loved one that has died to add to an alter in their memory that we will build during our worship service.
While the children are with us in the sanctuary we will have a Costume Parade and a Halloween collection of items for the Franklin Food Pantry. Current high priority needs include, Assorted bags of chips 8-10 oz., Assorted cookies and crackers 8-12 oz., Assorted boxes of cereal 10–20oz, Gluten-free items (shelf stable), Vegan items (shelf stable), Baby Wipes, Toothpaste, and pet food. See their website for other needs https://www.franklinfoodpantry.org/get-involved/pantry-needs/
Costumes are encouraged for all ages but not required.
