Join Rev. Bev, Diana Tesni, Director of Religious Education, and Michele Kelly, Music Director, for our first worship service of the Fall. Ingathering Sunday will include special music, a blessing of the backpacks, and a water ceremony ritual. Children and adult students as well as teachers are invited to bring a backpack, book bag, or briefcase for a special gift and blessing by Diana and Rev. Bev. Additionally, everyone is invited to bring some water to share with the congregation as we mingle this precious resource and bless it for use throughout the year at child dedications, weddings, and other sacred times. We look forward to seeing you in the meetinghouse or on Zoom if gathering in person still does not feel safe for you.

A Worship Experiment

This, our first service of the new church year (Rev. Bev sure hopes you were able to enjoy some of the wonderful summer services offered at FUSF this past summer), will mark the beginning of an experiment as we start this interim journey together. This primarily effects those of you joining us on Zoom. We will be posting an order of service and the lyrics to our hymns on this website (here is the link: https://fusf.org/2022/09/08/september-11-2022/ ). This will give you the information you would normally see on slides shown throughout the service on your screens. We will not be printing these orders of service so if you are uncomfortable looking at it on the website, feel free to print one for yourself.
