There used to be a Unitarian Universalist bumper sticker that called us the Uncommon Denomination. Whenever I saw it, I wondered what that meant, how non-UUs interpreted it and if it was really a good explanation of Unitarian Universalism. In a culture of sound bites, tweets and text messaging, how do we explain the richness, the history and the core meaning of our living tradition in 15 seconds, 144 characters or in one sentence?
