Mother’s Day Walk for Peace

May 12, 8 am–11 am This year will be the 28th annual Mother’s Day Walk for peace, a tradition that honors the lives of loved ones who have been murdered and is the Louis D. Brown Peace Institute’s largest fundraising event. Celebrate Earth Day!

Join us after the service on Sunday, April 21st and celebrate Earth Day by learning about the importance of native plants! We will start at 11:15 am to give everyone time to get coffee and snacks. Steve Derdiarian (Landscape Architect) and Stirling Cousins (Master Naturalist) will give a presentation and then we will have time for questions (45 minutes to one hr).
