The Unitarian Universalist Value of Pluralism encourages us to “embrace our differences and commonalities with Love, curiosity, and respect.” Bobbi Gerlits, one of FUSF’s lay leaders, has been reflecting on this value for the past few months. Her journey toward a better understanding of pluralism has been shaped by the Sunday before Thanksgiving, three libraries, Henry David Thoreau, rules, Norman Rockwell, and a housewarming gift.
