Are You Ready to Become a Member?

Maybe you’re finding yourself sitting in the sanctuary most Sunday mornings. Maybe you feel inspired by Rev. Jenny’s thoughtful sermons. Maybe you just can’t get over the incredible musical talent. Maybe your morals, ethics, and philosophy are aligned with the seven Unitarian Universalist Principles. Maybe you have been impressed by the warm welcome you received when you entered the building. Maybe your moral compass is pointing you in the direction of one of the many Social Action opportunities. Maybe you are ready to become a member of the First Universalist Society in Franklin!!

Becoming a member is a pretty simple matter. All you need to do is sign the official blue Membership Book (not to be confused with the brown guest book!) Signing means that you are ready to call Unitarian Universalism your faith; that the First Universalist Society in Franklin is your spiritual home; that you will come to the meetinghouse for services regularly and find some other way(s) to participate (I can help with that!); that you pledge to support FUSF financially. (In other words, time, treasure, and talent!)

These are important and exciting times at FUSF! Becoming a member also means that you can vote in matters important to the future of FUSF. Come and see me if you are ready to take the FUSF plunge and officially join the FUSF community!
