Mark your calendars – on Sunday, February 12th, from 11:30-12:30 a.m. our Ministerial Settlement Representative (MSR), Lisa Anderson, will be here for a congregational meeting as we plan the steps needed to begin the process of calling our settled minister.
Lisa will accompany us along the way, sharing best practices, answering questions, and being our cheerleader during this exciting time! Lisa has been a member of the Unitarian Society of New Haven (CT) since 1977. Near retirement, she is a Lawyer/Mediator by training.
Looking back as she moves forward into the next season of her life, she believes dealing with organizations and individuals in transition has consistently been a focus of her professional and volunteer work. She served on her church’s ministerial search committee in 2015 and is now on the Committee on Ministry serving her newly called minister. She has been involved in executive searches on several boards of directors for nonprofits.
While working part time she is also earning a certification to conduct professional workshops that focus on board training, diversity, and effective communication. Facilitating difficult meetings is a strength and interest.
Please plan to extend your Sunday morning an extra hour on February 12th so you can attend this important meeting. Childcare will be available.
