First Universalist Society in Franklin

Jan 17 Plate Offering

January’s First Sunday Plate Offering will take place on January 8th and will go to the Franklin Food Pantry.

As you probably know, the Food Pantry box in FUSF’s foyer is taken to the Pantry regularly, and donated items are always welcome, especially feminine hygiene products, toilet paper, dishwashing liquid, canned sloppy joe and beef stew, coffee, white tuna, and all kinds of jams and jellies. However, cash donations go even farther, because they can be used to buy discounted food from local groceries and markets. That’s why we’re doing this plate giveaway.

Your generosity helps feed the more than 500 families and more than 150 seniors who are faced with hard choices every month when the money runs out.

All checks should be made out to FUSF; then one check is sent from FUSF to the Food Pantry.  If your check is for something other than this plate giveaway, please make a notation on the check.

Thank you in advance for your consideration.
