FUSF Welcomes new Director of Religious Education

Welcome to Aoife Barrington-Haber, our new Director of Religious Education! Aoife (pronounced OY-fee) has spent the last five years as a DRE at the First Church Dedham, the UU church where she grew up.

A graduate of Antioch College, she received her M.A. degree from Emerson College in Theatre Education, focusing on Theatre for Social Change. Her varied work experience includes being a nanny, puppeteer, performing at Renaissance Faires, teaching rock-climbing and aerial acrobatics.

Rev. Carol, parents, children and the entire Franklin Universalist Society community are excited about her leadership of the Religious Education program for 2014-2015! Aoife says she is looking forward to “collaborating with everyone, making sure each child at FUSF has a place to be a kid in a safe, loving and accepting community.”

Aoife lives in Canton with her husband Michael and their eight-year-old daughter Nerissa.
