February 2017 Update

The Transition Team would like to thank the 100 people who attended one of our 10 Listening Circles. You came. You spoke your mind. You shared deeply and eloquently. You listened respectfully. Thank you!
We listened, and we heard you. We carefully organized and summarized your responses. On 1/10/17 we met with the Board and presented our findings. It was very reassuring that the Board is already working on many of the issues identified as being most important to you.
On Sunday, 1/29/17 we will present to everyone at the Congregational Meeting. We look forward to sharing our methodology and our findings. There will be time after the presentation for questions. We welcome your thoughts.
Sunday, 3/5/17 will be an exciting day. Please plan to stay after Service to participate in the next phase of preparing ourselves to call our next Settled Minister. That day’s Service, and the small group discussions to follow, will focus on helping us define our unique identity, and formulating our vision for the future of FUSF. We all have the privilege and the opportunity to be part of this important process. There will be more details on this event in the near future.
“Life is one big road with lots of signs. So when you riding through the ruts, don’t complicate your mind. Flee from hate, mischief and jealousy. Don’t bury your thoughts, put your vision to reality. Wake Up and Live!”
Bob Marley
