Path of Peace Sangha

 Path of Peace Sangha

A Sangha in the Tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh

Engaged Buddhism was introduced by Thich Nhat Hanh during the Vietnam War. Its purpose is to take meditation practice into the world, to alleviate pain and suffering.  We gather to support one another as we work to create peace in our lives, families, community, and world.  We welcome opportunities to bring our mindfulness practice into everyday life and assist others.

All are welcome. You don’t have to be Buddhist to practice with us. Many members continue to participate within other religious traditions. We are a group of friends dedicated to mindful living and Engaged Buddhist practice.

We meet each Monday at 7:00 PM with an introductory class at 6:45 PM at FUSF.
