About Our Laughter Sessions

Experience all the health benefits of a good belly laugh! No comedy or jokes involved!

Our Laughter Club program is a fun form of exercise of laughter and clapping combined with gentle breathing that brings more oxygen to the body’s cells. This oxygen boost gives enhanced vitality, energy and a feeling of real well-being.

Any age and any level of physical ability can participate in this uplifting experience! You can sit or stand. There are no fancy poses. There is no joke-telling. You do not need to be happy or even have a sense of humor! Children are welcome.

Let’s Laugh Today meets at the FUSF meetinghouse at 262 Chestnut Street in Franklin, Massachusetts. We laugh together every first Wednesday from 7:30-8:30 p.m. There are no classes in July and August! There is a $5 per person/$10 per family suggested donation for use of the sanctuary and the public is invited to attend. New laughers are always welcomed. Please bring your water bottle because laughing is dehydrating. Let’s Laugh Today! Go to for more on laughing your way to health! Come join us!

LET’S LAUGH TODAY in Franklin is on Wednesday, May 3rd !

Let’s Laugh Today in Franklin is on Wednesday, May 3rd (and every first Wednesday of the month) from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm in the Sanctuary. Enjoy this delightful practice, appropriate for all ages and levels of fitness. When we laugh, we energize our bodies and revive our spirits. All that is involved is deep breathing and a few stretches, playful laughter exercises (no jokes or comedy), clapping and deep relaxation. It has many benefits besides the joy of laughter. It can strengthen the immune system, combat the negative effects of stress, and is a powerful antidote to depression and anxiety. $5 suggested donation to the church, $10 maximum per family.  Please bring your water bottle because laughing can be dehydrating.  Led by Certified Laughter Yoga Teachers, Linda and Bill Hamaker.
