Our Congregation

Fundraiser FUSF- Bella Noche

Congregational Life

Life at FUSF is as diverse as its congregation! Our members are talented and passionate about many different causes and interests. Within this spiritual community, members share, contribute, and learn from each other.

Our congregation is a place where members both long-term and new feel welcomed and validated. There are ample opportunities to participate in a variety of discussion and spiritual groups and artistic endeavors.

If you are new to FUSF or are interested in visiting us during Sunday services, we have a welcoming team to greet visitors and answer questions. You can also contact our Membership Coordinator to arrange a phone discussion or a private meeting and tour of our Meetinghouse and grounds.

Ferry Beach Retreat

FUSF Members

Every year, our congregation enjoys a weekend away at Ferry Beach–a beautiful, ocean-side retreat center in Saco, Maine. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with congregants on a deeper level. Scheduled activities are provided throughout the weekend, catering to all ages. Activities are optional, and range from indoor and outdoor games to nature walks, exploratory discussions, a Saturday evening talent show, morning yoga, building fairy houses, and an annual outdoor (weather permitting) Sunday worship.

Interweave and Boston Pride Festival Participation

We are a welcoming congregation! We take part in Boston’s annual parade and our Interweave Group at FUSF has taken part in many demonstrations.

Other Social and Activity Groups

We have a regular Drumming Group and Hiking Group. We have a weekly Sangha Meditation Group. Members participate in arts and music groups, and every year there is something new to try. For more information, look at the additional links under “Our Congregation” to the right or above.
