Bidding For Good

We are looking for gift cards ($25 and up) that we can use to make our BIDDING FOR GOOD auction a HUGE SUCCESS this year. This is an online auction on a national website that supports charities and other non-profits.

There are three ways you could help:

  1. Do you have any gift cards that you don’t plan to use? We will be happy to take them off your hands.
  2. Would you be willing to ask one or two merchants that you frequent to donate a gift card/certificate for the auction? Your hairdresser? Your favorite restaurant? A boutique that you shop at? This way you spend no money of your own, but the church makes lots of money when people bid on these gift cards. If everyone in our church asked ONE merchant for a gift card, we would have LOTS.
  3. If neither of the above options suit you, you could certainly buy a gift card and donate it to the auction (and if you bought a grocery gift card from Meg Loring after church, we would get the money from you buying the gift card as well as the money when we sell the gift card.

I can’t stress enough how helpful it would be if you were to help in one of these ways. Please consider it! Please contact Katie Nunes ( with any questions or to make a donation.
