Talk on Interim Ministry – March 13

Plan to attend service on March 13th when Keith Kron, UUA Director of Transitions will be preaching his sermon “How the Spider Had Fish for Dinner.”

Following the service, Keith will lead a conversation discussing the purpose of the interim ministry, how the congregation can use this time, and the skills of an interim and types of issues they see during an interim period with a congregation after a long term ministry like ours. Please contact a Board Member with any questions.

This is normally a Souper Sunday so there will be lunch in between service and the workshop. However, no soups are wanted for this social hour after service, as the meeting will be conducted in the sanctuary. So that everyone is happy and not hungry-cranky, we’ll have tables set up in the sanctuary (just like at Thanksgiving) and food out in the foyer. Of course this means we need lots of help! We’ll need sandwiches, salads, casseroles and desserts, along with cold drinks. No soups please. Also we’ll need lots of help setting up tables and chairs. Sign up sheets will be on the side table in the sanctuary.  Please contact Rebecca Kennedy for more details.
