ANNOUNCEMENTS

     *Mother’s Day Walk for Peace  A team from FUSF is walking on May 14 – so far we have five on our team – please consider joining us!  Yes, it’s a long walk – 6.8 miles – but for a very important cause – peace & justice.  Our team’s goal is $1000.  For the next few weeks a container will be available on the side table for checks (Make out to “Mother’ Day Walk for Peace”and cash donations.   If you are tech savvy you can go to the website (in this month’s newsletter) and go directly to our FUSF team page to make sure your donation is credited to us.  See Rev. Ann Willever for more information.

       *2017 Boston Pride Parade: Saturday June 10, 12-3 PM. FUSF will be there carrying our banner! Interested in joining us? Sign-up at the side table. Our fee is $160. Donations gratefully accepted in the rainbow box. Please contact: Claire Mallette at claire_mallette@yahoo.com if interested

    *Check out the FUSF Social Justice table and ways to get involved. In addition, today is the last day to buy a raffle ticket for a Boston Womens March tshirt. All money raised goes to help fund entry fees for fusf Boston Pride  (june 10) and the Mothers day march for peace (may 14) teams. See you at the table!

    *Womensphere, a sacred circle gathering for women through the Ballou Channing District of the Unitarian Universalist Association, will hold their spring event on Sat, Apr 29th, from 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.  at the Westminster Unitarian Church in East Greenwich, RI.  Pamphlets are on the side table with the agenda, directions and registration forms.

*Please remember to put your name tag on each Sunday when you enter the sanctuary.  If you are attending regularly you should have one on the wall rack in the foyer.  If you do not have one, speak to the people at the Welcome Table.
